Kan Kok Cheong Andy, CA Singapore, FCCA, ATP (Income Tax), Sole Proprietor; Andy graduated from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). Andy is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), an accredited tax practitioner (income tax) of the Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals (SCTP), a practising member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) and a public accountant registered with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA). Currently Andy is the sole proprietor of his two firms, Assurance Affiliates and Advisory Affiliates. Andy has over 30 years of experience in providing audit (both internal audit and external audit), assurance and business advisory services to a broad range of clients including trading, manufacturing, construction, property development, transportation, services (including legal, medical, dental, architectural, engineering, etc), investment holding, leisure, entertainment and hospitality, tourism, food and beverages, oil and gas etc. Andy has been an assurance manager with the Big Four firms in Singapore with exposure to the audits of public listed companies, large multinational corporations, small and medium size enterprises responsible for their statutory audits, internal audits, special purpose audits, agreed upon procedures, etc. He has also act as an external consultant to several Small and Medium Practices (SMPs) of Chartered Accountants (CA) on compliance procedures with accounting standards, auditing standards as well as to prepare for them for the ACRA/ISCA Practice Monitoring Programme (PMP) review.
